Never Just a Photograph is a blog about my favorite topics which I hope readers will find interesting. Nature, Hiking, Travel, Birding, and People are my main categories, but I may sprinkle in DIY projects and cooking too! I love to cook, and the recipes I share are family favorites!
I'm from beautiful Oregon, where we have amazing places to take photographs. I love outdoor photography, using natural light, while incorporating amazing backdrops to create beautiful images. I prefer shooting closet to the golden hour (one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset) for the best lighting possible!
I'm married to my high school sweetie, and we have three children, six grandchildren and a loveable Standard Poodle. I enjoy birding, the coast, and traveling to most anywhere!
